
About Attorney Henry T. Dart, Of Counsel
Hank Dart is Of Counsel at Flattmann Law. He is a fourth-generation attorney and began practicing law in 1977. Prior to law school, Mr. Dart served in the U.S. Navy, where he developed an interest in all things maritime. He studied admiralty law at LSU Law School. Over the course of his career, Mr. Dart has represented hundreds of clients in personal injury matters, including maritime personal injury cases.
In 2010, when the Deepwater Horizon oil spill occurred, Mr. Dart was hired by the Louisiana Attorney General to work as special counsel handling admiralty issues for the State. He is proud to have contributed to the State’s 6.8-billion-dollar settlement.
Mr. Dart’s true passion is maritime personal injury law. During his career, he has represented Jones Act Seamen around the nation, including in Louisiana and up and down the East Coast.
As “Of Counsel” to the firm, Mr. Dart provides support on select cases involving catastrophic injuries, and especially on maritime-related issues.
